22 New Key Strokes and Menus
23
Many new keyboard shortcuts have been
24 added in Jalview 2.2 to make editing, selecting and navigating an
25 alignment even easier. The selection commands in the Edit
26 menu, and the alignment formatting controls within the View
27 menu have also been moved into their own respective Select
28 and Format menus.

29
Some of the more important new keystrokes are shown below :
31
Page Up and Page Down
32 scrolls through the alignment view.

33
Control I inverts the currently selected
34 sequence set, and Control Alt I will invert the
35 currently selected set of columns.
36
Control V will paste the contents of the
37 clipboard to the current alignment window, and Control
38 Shift V pastes the data to a new window.

39
Control O opens the file browser for loading
40 a new alignment or Jalview archive.

41
Control S saves the alignment with the
42 current filename and format, and Control Shift S opens
43 the Save As... dialog box.

44
Control T creates a new alignment view, and Control
45 W closes the current view, or if none remain, then the whole alignment.

46
Control E will remove gapped columns in the alignment.

47
Control D opens the Remove Redundancy dialog box.
